Principal's Message

St Michael’s Catholic Primary School, Thirroul was founded by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1940 and is a part of the Diocese of Wollongong.

Our school has a strong link with the local parish, providing opportunities for faith development through the implementation of sacramental programs.

The responsibility of education is actively shared with our parents who are closely involved in the life of the school. Read more about us and meet our staff.

Our school vision, 'Inspiring excellence in learning, leading and living the faith', guides us and ensures that our students receive the best possible opportunities. We are proud of the strong academic achievement that exists at St Michael’s. Find out more about our learning and teaching.

Apart from implementing outstanding programs in Religious Education, literacy and numeracy, we offer our students involvement in diverse experiences such as representative sport and participation in various competitions. There is also a strong focus on effectively using technology to enhance learning. See what we offer.

I am extremely proud to be principal of St Michael’s Catholic Primary School. I warmly invite you to peruse our website and I welcome any feedback. If you would like to visit our school, please feel free to contact the school office and we would be delighted to give you a tour of the wonderful facilities.

God Bless,

JAMES BRYCE
